Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert will look for a new club this summer, having been deemed surplus to requirements.

The England international was mostly restricted to appearances off the bench last term.

Widespread reports now cite that the former Saints star has given up on his Reds career, and will seek to move elsewhere in the summer.

It is added that the Baggies are the only club for now keen on landing the player's signature.
