Spurs lead Aleksandar Mitrovic race

Tottenham Hotspur are set to beat the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle United to the signing of Serbian sensation Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian international has been in good form for Belgian giants Anderlecht, who has invested in young recruits in recent seasons.

The Express cites that Spurs look set to beat London rivals Chelsea and Newcastle United in the pursuit of the talented marksman.

It is added that a fee of around £8m could be sufficient to get the deal done during the summer transfer window.
