Tottenham make fresh bid for Yannick Ferreira Carrasco

Belgian winger Yannick Ferreira is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur. The Premier League side have been in contact with Ferreira's French club Monaco and have apparently matched their 23 million euro asking price.

Ferreira impressed during Monaco's stunning Champions League campaign last season and Spurs have now opened discussions with Monaco for a permanent transfer for the Belgian starlet.

Ferreira had been tracked by Juventus and Arsenal, but it is understood that Tottenham are the team that are likely to win the race for Carrasco's coveted signature.

Tottenham are also hoping to sign Toby Alderweireld this week from Atletico Madrid, to add to their growing Belgian contingent.
