Argentina international Gonzalo is apparently open to a summer exit from Napoli amidst interest from the Emirates.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the former Real striker.

The talented marksman had rejected a switch to the Gunners for the Naples outfit two seasons ago.

However, Reports in Italy cite that the 27-year-old will seek a switch away from Serie A, with the Gunners willing to pay as much as £42m to land his services during the summer transfer window.

Napoli has earlier stated that they will not offload their asset for less than £60m, but their ongoing financial crisis could tempt them into the player's sale.
