Carlos Vela snubs West Ham United move

Real Sociedad forward Carlos Vela has rejected a switch back to the Premier League with West Ham United.

The Hammers were believed to be keen on signing up the Mexican international for a reported fee of around £21.4m.

However, Vela, who struggled to make the most of his opportunity at former club Arsenal, has turned down a move back to the English top flight.

The 26-year-old has notched up 57 goals in 158 appearances for the La Liga outfit.
