Man Utd, Arsenal lead Gonzalo Higuain pursuit

Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are the leading candidates to land the services of Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer.

The Argentina international is understood to be keen on a fresh challenge away from Naples, having seen the club fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

According to The Star, the Gunners and Red Devils are hot on the player's trail and Napoli could be tempted into the sale given their ongoing financial problems.

Higuain joined the Serie A outfit from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
