Chelsea boss keen on Isco signing

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly told the club's hierarchy to sign up Real Madrid's Isco during the summer transfer window.

The Spain international has had mixed seasons at the Bernabeu since his move from Malaga in 2013.

According to Metro, Mourinho has pressed the directors at the club to make an improved offer of around £35m for Isco, having seen their initial bid of £20m turned down.

Premier League rivals Manchester City are also monitoring the proceedings.
