Man City ready to spend big on Kevin de Bruyne

Manchester City are expected to continue their spending spree by making a mega bid for Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian international has been in tip-top form since his move to the Wolves from Chelsea in 2014.

City scouts have been impressed by the player's progress in recent seasons, and have alerted the club's hierarchy to seal a deal for his services this summer.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain have shown keen interested in signing up the talented playmaker, but The Mirror cites that the Citizens will look to sway away interest from their rivals and land the midfielder's signature for a £40m fee this summer.
