Crystal Palace sign Patrick Bamford on loan

Crystal Palace have sealed a season-long loan deal for Chelsea sensation Patrick Bamford.

The youngster was in top form for Middlesbrough on loan last season, as he notched up 19 goals in all competitions for the Riverside outfit.

Recent reports cited that Blues boss Jose Mourinho would allow the young striker make a temporary move to a mid-level Premier League club in order to earn valuable first-team experience.

According to The Sun, the 21-year-old has decided to join the Eagles on loan for the season.

Bamford was awarded the Championship Player of the Year prize last season.
