Chelsea flop nears Roma switch

Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah is close to sealing a summer move to Serie A with Roma, according to reports.

The Blues are ready to cash in on the talented winger following his impressive loan spell at Fiorentina during the second half of last season.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport cites that the former Basel star has set his sights on joining Roma for a reported fee of around £15m this summer.

Salah scored nine goals in 26 outings for La Viola on loan last season.
