Everton to hold James McCarthy talks
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is expected to hold crunch talks with James McCarthy's representative as they try to resolve the player's future at Goodison Park.
The Republic of Ireland international joined the Toffees from Wigan Athletic in 2013, and has since then been a constant setup in the first-team.
However, the former Latics star is considering his future, following a dismal spell for the Toffees in the Premier League last season.
According to The Mail, Martinez will meet up with McCarthy's agent to discuss the possibility of a contract extension for the midfielder.
Tottenham Hotspur have shown keen interest in signing up the talented enforcer in recent weeks.
