Emmanuel Adebayor to complete Aston Villa transfer

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor is complete his proposed loan switch to Aston Villa in the next 24 hours.

The Togolese international struggled under Mauricio Pochettino last season, and is expected to leave White Hart Lane in the transfer window.

According to The Sun, the former Gunners striker is close to sealing a season-long loan to the Villains, after passing a medical and agreeing terms over the temporary move.

Adebayor made just 10 appearances for Spurs in all competitions last term.
