Barcelona waiting for Alex Song offer?

Barcelona are still in search for a new club for out-of-favour midfielder Alex Song.

The La Liga champions are yet to receive a formal bid for the Cameroon international who spent last season on loan at West Ham United.

The Hammers had been linked with a permanent move for the 27-year-old, but they opted against the deal as soon as they found out that the player would require a surgery to remove a piece of bone which had caused an ankle injury.

According to Sport, Barca are ready to offload the former Arsenal man on a cut-price deal but are finding it difficult to get a suitable buyer.

Song made 28 league appearances for the Hammers last term.
