Liverpool to offload Lucas Leiva

Liverpool look set to allow the sale of Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva, according to reports.

The midfield enforcer had been linked with a move away from Liverpool earlier this summer.

However, Liverpool Echo now claims that the experienced midfield is ready to call quits on his Reds career following a bust up with manager Brendan Rodgers.

Italian side Inter Milan look favourites to sign up Leiva before the transfer deadline.
