Arsenal finalizing MUCH AWAITED transfer

Arsenal are close to announcing the departure of winger Joel Campbell from the club.

The Costa Rican international failed to make his way to the first-team in spite of his exploits at the World Cup finals in Brazil, and was shipped on loan to Villareal in the second half of last season.

Reports in Italy cite that the Gunners have agreed a fee of around £6.4m with Palermo for the player's transfer, and an official announcement could be made by the end of the week.

Campbell has made just 10 appearances for the FA Cup holders till date.
