Real Madrid complete Mateo Kovacic signing

Real Madrid has confirmed the arrival of Croatian international Mateo Kovacic from Inter Milan.

The 21-year-old has been the subject of transfer speculation since the start of the transfer window, with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool interested in his signature.

However, Los Blancos have now finalized a fee of around £21m for the talented playmaker following a successful medical at the club.

Kovacic is expected to sign a six-year contract ahead of his unveiling at the Bernabeu.
