Sunderland keen on Kieran Richardson return

Sunderland are considering the option of re-signing former player Kieran Richardson from Aston Villa, The Mirror reports.
The Black Cats are currently placed at the bottom of the Premier League having lost their first two games in a convincing fashion.
Richardson spent five years with the Wearside outfit before moving on to Fulham, and then to Villa last season.
A report from The Mirror claims that Dick Advocaat's side will look to bring back the 30-year-old, as they aim to solve their ongoing defensive crisis.
Richardson is currently Villa's second choice left-back following the arrival of Jordan Amavi from Nice this summer.
