Palladino rejects move claims
Raffaele Palladino has denied claims that he could be set for a move away from Juventus as he has become disillusioned behind David Trezeguet, Alessandro Del Piero and Vincenzo Iaquinta in the pecking order. Palladino is gradually forcing his way into the side however.
âIt was tough at the start,â Palladino admitted. âAfter promotion from Serie B there was increased competition at Juve.
âSadly we couldnât count on having the extra midweek games in Europe either, so it was inevitable that there would be less space in the side.
âFirst and foremost I am a Juventus fan and whatever the sacrifice I want to see the Old Lady thrive at the top level,â he explained.
âSlowly but surely I have worked quietly to earn Claudio Ranieriâs trust and to be chosen for the national team is a testament to my efforts in Serie A.
âIt was an enormous source of satisfaction, even if I returned to the bench before the winter break.â
