West Ham agree Alex Song deal
West Ham United have reached agreement over a permanent move for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song, subject to a medical.
The former Cameroon international was tipped to join the Hammers, following a successful loan spell last term.
However, newly appointed manager Slaven Bilic opted for recruits elsewhere, and this stalled negotiations for the midfield enforcer.
Hammers co-chairman David Sullivan has now revealed that the club have agreed a permanent deal for the former Arsenal star.He added that they will wait until the transfer deadline as Song is not fit enough to undergo a medical test.
West Ham host newcomers Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.
