Leandro Bacuna inks new Aston Villa deal

Aston Villa defender Leandro Bacuna has signed a new long-term deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2020.

The 23-year-old full-back joined the West Midlands outfit from Groningen in 2013.

Bacuna's previous contract was due to expire at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

"I am absolutely thrilled to sign a new contract and continue my time at Aston Villa. I love it here and am really excited about my future in claret and blue under the manager. I feel I can really develop here and show my worth to the team and I think there are bright times ahead for us all." he told the club's official website.

The Dutchman made 26 appearances for the Villans in all competitions last season.
