Edinson Cavani eager to join Arsenal

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is reportedly pushing for a move to Arsenal before the closure of the transfer window.

The Uruguayan international is desperate for a new challenge having been forced to play as a second striker to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in recent seasons.

Reports in France cite that Cavani is trying his best to seek a transfer away from the French champions, with Arsenal being one among the top sides vying for his signature.

Cavani joined Les Parisiens from Napoli in the summer of 2013.
