Mario Balotelli in AC Milan talks

Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli is reportedly considering a move back to former club AC Milan.

The Italy international joined the Reds from the Rossoneri last summer, and many expected him to make an impression at the Merseyside outfit.

However, he struggled to get any kind of momentum, and was restricted to just a solitary league goal in the previous campaign.

Gazetta dello Sport now claims that the San Siro outfit are in negotiations to take Balotelli back to Serie A before the transfer deadline.

Balotelli was absent for Liverpool's 1-0 league win over newcomers Bournemouth last weekend.
