Arsenal boss open to new signings
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has iterated that he is on the look out for new recruits '24 hours a day'.
The Gunners were expected to make a number of signings this summer, as they aim to lodge a challenge for the Premier League title this season.
However, having only signed goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea, question marks have been raised over Wenger's activity in the transfer market.
Wenger has now stated that he is open to bringing in new signings before the transfer window closes next week.
"I don't know because I am always confident that a last-minute situation or solution is available, because the transfer market is especially moving in the last four or five days." he told Sky Sports News.
"But at the moment, we are not close to signing anyone. I am 24 hours available per day, so I am involved in the decision of course."
