Aaron Lennon wants Everton switch

Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon is eager to make a move to Everton before tomorrow's transfer deadline, according to reports.

The England international struggled to cement a regular spot at Spurs, and was shipped out on loan to the Toffees in the second half of last season.

Lennon was highly impressive during his loan spell, and this led to the speculation that he may seal a permanent move during the summer transfer window.

However, the Toffees have cooled down their interest due to Spurs' lofty asking price for the winger.

The Mirror now claims that Lennon is ready to see out his final year at Spurs, should Everton not come in for his services.

Spurs currently rate Lennon at around £9m.
