Chelsea after Marek Hamsik?

Chelsea could be in the market for another young defender as they are chasing Marek Hamsik, formerly a target for Man Utd and Liverpool. The Slovakian has been in fine form for Napoli in the Italian leagues.

Hamsik has represented Slovakia in the junior caregories. He played for Slovakia in qualification for the UEFA Under-17 European Championships and Under-19 Championships.

Chelsea are believed to be prepared to pay up to £5 million to sign the young defender.

However, Liverpool and Man Utd will be watching closely at any offers made for the youngster.
