Charlie Austin rejected Premier League move
Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has revealed that he had turned down a summer move back to the Premier League.
The 26-year-old had been tipped to make his way back to the Premier League following the R's relegation to the Championship last season.
However, Austin is thought to have turned down the likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle United to show his loyalty to the West London side for the ongoing season.
The former Burnley star has now insisted that he rebuffed a return to the Premier League as it was not right for him or his family.
He added that he is fully focused on his goal of bringing his club back to the top flight in the first coming.
Austin has scored four goals in five games for QPR this season.
