Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is exploring a winter deal for Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to reports.

The Spain international has struggled to attain a regular starting role, in spite of impressing in his short spell with the club.

TalkSPORT understands that Wenger is a huge admirer of the talented Spaniard, and will seek to land his services on a bargain price in the January transfer window.

On the other hand, Spanish sources claim that the former European champions will do their very best to keep hold of the 23-year-old particularly at the mid point of the campaign.

Isco joined the La Liga giants from Malaga in 2013.
