Liverpool target William Carvalho

Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on long-term Arsenal target and Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent seasons.

Carvalho is currently recovering from a serious knee injury which he suffered during the Under-21 European Championships over the summer.

According to Calciomercato, the Reds will look to seal a deal for the talented enforcer before the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

The 23-year-old is currently rated at around £25m by his club.
