Chelsea readying bid for Dani Carvajal

Chelsea are planning a January bid for highly-rated Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal, according to reports.

The Blues boss Jose Mourinho is understood to be on the search for a new right-back as they are most likely to let go of Branislav Ivanovic once his contract expires at the end of the season.

Tuttomercatoweb understands that the Premier League will make a bid of around £14m in an attempt to bring the talented right-back to Stamford Bridge.

Carvajal has made 91 appearances for Los Blancos since graduating from their youth academy.
