Newcastle United plan Afobe swoop
Newcastle United will reportedly step up their interest for Wolverhampton star Benik Afobe next year.
The 22-year-old joined the Wolves in January having failed to make a cut to the first-team at Arsenal. He has since then set the ground alight scoring goals at will for the Championship side.
The Magpies were thought to be keen on a permanent deal for the talented striker over the summer, but the Wolves opted against his sale.
Sunday People now understands that the Tyneside outfit will revive their pursuit for the young striker when the transfer window reopens in January.
Steve McClaren's side are currently rockbottom of the Premier League with just three points.
