Sevilla keen on Victor Valdes

Europa League champions Sevilla have reportedly shown interested in signing up Manchester United outcast Victor Valdes.

The Spain international is clearly deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford following his omission from the club's pre-season squad of the United States.

Valdes has yet to make an appearance of any kind for the Red Devils this term, with manager Louis van Gaal insisting that the player is free to seek a fresh challenge away from the Mancunian giants.

According to The Express, Sevilla will look to end Valdes' nightmare spell at United by landing his services in the winter transfer window.

The 33-year-old would not be allowed to move on a free transfer before the New Year as he was still an United player when the transfer window came to a close.
