Real Madrid target Antoine Griezmann

Real Madrid are understood to be plotting a winter deal for Chelsea target and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.

The 24-year-old joined the Basque outfit from Malaga in 2014, and has since then played a pivotal role in the starting setup.

Griezmann had been linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer with the Blues eager to land his services, but Atleti were firm in their desire to keep hold of their star attacker.

According to TalkSPORT, Los Blancos have been long-time admirers of the France international, and will test Atleti's resolve with a big money offer next summer.

Griezmann has been in fine form for his club this term, having notched five goals and three assists in all competitions.
