Chelsea interested in Jonathan Calleri

Chelsea are thought to be eyeing a January deal for Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri, according to reports.

The Premier League holders have had a dreadful start to their league campaign and currently find themselves in 12th place with just 11 points.

Italian publication Tuttomercato now understands that the Blues are weighing up winter deal for 22-year-old Calleri, who is said to be highly rated in his home country of Argentina.

It is added that the West London giants have already began initial negotiations with Boca for the talented marksman.

Calleri has notched 16 goals in 40 appearances for his club till date.
