Andros Townsend to Newcastle United?

Tottenham Hotspur outcast Andros Townsend is set to join Newcastle United on loan in January, according to reports.

The England international has hardly played for Spurs this season, and signs are that he may seek a fresh challenge in the winter transfer window.

Townsend graduated from Spurs' youth ranks, and has since then spent much of his time away from White Hart Lane on several loan stints.

According to The Express, the talented winger is expected to seek a temporary switch to the Magpies, which would be his tenth loan spell away from the North London side.

The 24-year-old has earned 10 caps with his national team till date.
