Swansea City eyeing Andros Townsend loan?

Swansea City have become the latest club to be interested in a temporary deal for Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend.

The 24-year-old is expected to seek a fresh challenge away from White Hart Lane in January as he no longer features in Mauricio's Pochettino's first-team plans.

Newcastle United have been recently linked with the player's services, but according to South Wales Evening Post, the Swans are ready to offer stiff competition to land the England international on an interim basis.

Townsend has yet to start a Premier League game for the North London side.
