CSKA eyeing Doumbia extension

Ivory Coast striker Seydou Doumbia is expected to have his loan deal at CSKA Moscow extended till the end of the season.

The 27-year-old struggled to settle at AS Roma and opted to rejoin CSKA on a six-month loan deal over the summer.

Doumbia has since then put up a strong show for the Russian giants, and Izvestia claims that CSKA will seek to extend his temporary move for another six months.

It is added that the club may be tempted to seal a permanent deal for his services next summer, should he maintain his performance levels for the second half of the campaign.
