Premier League trio eye Nicolas Gaitan

Premier League giants Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are set to compete for the services of Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan in January.

The Argentina international had been previously linked with a move to the Premier League with United over the summer.

It is now known that all three Premier League sides have been closely watching the 27-year-old over the course of the campaign.

According to The People, City are front-runners in the chase for Gaitan, but the Gunners and United are hopeful of luring the midfielder with tempting offers of their own.

Benfica currently value Gaitan at around £24m.
