Roberto Martinez has no fears over Stones' future
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is confident that he can keep hold of defender John Stones beyond the winter transfer window.
The England international was the subject of multiple bids from Chelsea over the summer, but the Toffees had no interest in offloading their star asset.
It has been recently reported that the Blues may come up with yet another bid for the 21-year-old as they seek to brush off their early season troubles.
However, Martinez has insisted that the Toffees are in a good financial position, and are not in any mood to offload their star players.
"That is the real problem as a manager when the chairman or owner of the club says we need to cash in on two or three players. That is not the situation at Everton." he told reports.
Stones joined the Toffees from Barnsley in 2013.
