Arsenal ready to splash cash on Jese Rodriguez

Arsenal are willing to pay big to land Spanish striker Jese Rodriguez, The Star reports.

The 22-year-old has struggled for regular playing time this campaign, with manager Rafael Benitez preferring Karim Benzema ahead of him in the pecking order.

Rodriguez has recently hinted that he could seek a fresh challenge from the Bernabeu with a whole host of top sides interested in his services.

The Star now understands that the Gunners are interested in the young forward, and are mulling over a winter offer for his signature.

Jese is currently rated by Real at around £22m.
