Lukas Podolski eyeing Bundesliga return

Former Arsenal star Lukas Podolski could reportedly seek a return to Bundesliga in the January transfer window.

The German international made a switch to Galatasaray over the summer having been deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates.

Podolski has since then put up a great show for Gala, and this has attracted interest from Hoffenheim, Turkish daily Aksam claims.

It is added that the Bundesliga outfit are willing to pay a fee in the region of £4m for the highly-rated forward.

The 30-year-old has scored seven goals in all competitions for his side this season.
