Arsenal track Karim Bellarabi

Premier League giants Arsenal are interested in a move for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Karim Bellarabi.

The 25-year-old has been in top form for the Bundesliga side in recent seasons, and this has earned him recognition with the German national side.

German sports daily Bild now understands that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the player's talents, and will seek to bring him to the Emirates during the winter transfer window.

The report adds that Schalke centre-back Benedikt Howedes is also a top target for the FA Cup holders.

Arsenal are currently second behind Manchester City in the league standings on virtue of goal difference.
