Lehmann rejects Dortmund
Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has turned down a move to Borussia Dortmund as he is apparently looking for a move to another Premiership club, believed to be Fulham. The German international has been linked with a move away from the club for several months.
Dortmund chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke said: "We regret Jens Lehmann's decision but do of course respect it."
"Although it would have been very attractive challenge to play again in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund, I have taken this decision for personal reasons," Lehmann said in a statement released through the German Football Association.
"I am sorry, particularly to disappoint the people responsible at Borussia Dortmund, who have tried very professionally to convince me to move and gave me sufficient time for consideration."
