Ligue 1 youngster tipped to join Arsenal

Arsenal are ready to make Nice midfielder Vincent Koziello their first signing of the winter transfer window.

The 20-year-old impressed during the weekend as he scored the final goal of his side's 3-0 over Lyon.

According to Metro, the Gunners scouts were in attendance for the Ligue 1 fixture, and had made a positive note on the youngster's performance.

It is added that the North Londoners are seemingly confident of sealing a deal for the talented attacker.

Premier League holders Chelsea are also thought to be keeping track on the proceedings.

Koziello has made 20 league appearances for Nice since his debut in 2014.
