Man Utd to miss out on MAIN TARGET

Manchester United are unlikely to seal a January deal for Southampton winger Sadio Mane.

The Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is understood to have earmarked the 23-year-old as the ideal fit to add creativity to his side in the New Year.

However, The Mail claims that the Saints are not keen on offloading their star man mid way through the campaign.

The report adds that the Senegalese international will be allowed to have his say on his future once the season comes to a close.

Mane has netted 16 goals in 49 appearances for the South Coast side following his move from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014.
