Chelsea hot on trail of Nikola Kalinic

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a winter deal for Fiorentina centre-forward Nikola Kalinic.

The 27-year-old has been in top form for La Viola following his move from Dnipro in the summer.

According to Italian source Gazzetta dello Sport, Mourinho is eager to land a new striker following their recent struggles to find the net.

The report adds that the West Londoners are weighing up a potential offer for the Croatian star in January.

Kalinic's existing contract expires in 2018, and it will take a substantial bid to lure the player from the Florence outfit.
