Arsenal to rival Spurs for Breel Embolo

Arsenal are keen on beating North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to the services of Basel star Breel Embolo.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the finest young strikers to come out of Swiss football.

Embolo has been a main stay in the club's first-team in recent seasons despite his young age.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed by Embolo's showing, and is ready to battle it out with Spurs for his signature.

Embolo has already scored an appreciable tally of 24 goals in 67 outings for the Swiss champions.
