Man Utd resume chase for World Class Striker

Manchester United will reportedly renew their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani in January.

The Uruguay international has had a frustrating spell at Les Parisiens having played second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the centre-forward role.

Widespread reports reveal the Red Devils may move in for the talented marksman following their lack of firepower upfront this campaign.

However, Les Parisiens are most likely to rebuff any offers in January as they consider the 28-year-old as the ideal fit to lead their attack once Ibra quits the club next summer.

Cavani has scored 66 goals in 115 outings for the Ligue 1 giants.
