Chelsea flop close to Marseille move
Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji is set for an immediate return to Ligue 1 with Marseille.
The Senegalese international joined the Blues from Nantes, just hours before the summer transfer deadline.
However, he has since then failed to convince manager Jose Mourinho of his abilities, and finds himself surplus to requirements at the club.
According to Mercato365, Marseille have expressed interest in the talented centre-back, who has made his name in the French league.
It is added that the club will seek to land a temporary deal for the 27-year-old with a view to a permanent switch at the end of the current campaign.
Djilobodji is yet to make a league appearance for the Blues.
