John Stones set for Chelsea move?

Chelsea are lining up a winter offer for Everton defender John Stones, The Express claims.

The England international had been the subject of multiple bids from the Blues in the summer, but the Toffees were not keen on his sale.

Since then, the Blues have suffered a disastrous spell in the Premier League, and are now keen on bringing in fresh faces in the New Year.

According to The Express, Interim manager Guus Hiddink has been given the go ahead to add a few players to his squad next month.

Adding to this, the league holders look likely to revive their interest in Toffees centre-back Stones.

Everton currently rate Stones at around £42m.
