Man Utd to recall Tyler Blackett?

Manchester United look set to recall defender Tyler Blackett from his loan spell at Celtic following their recent injury crisis.

The 21-year-old is said to have the versatility to play at either centre-back or left-back and he could act as the perfect back-up for long-term absentees Marcus Rojo and Luke Shaw.

A report from The Mail claims that the 21-year-old will be summoned to his parent club six months ahead of schedule.

It is added that Blackett's arrival will buy United some time to bring in a new left-back next month.

United are currently placed sixth in the Premier League following a run of five games without a win.
